Jun 09, 2014 · So, I put about 100 rounds of the .38 ammo through my revolver with a about 50 rounds of modern stuff mixed in. Amazing - couldn't tell the difference (with one exception - there was evidently issue ammunition of that vintage made with steel cartridges - these weren't very consistent - I've since weeded them out.
